Joe Brown, It will make you feel incredibly rich.
We are heading into September and still the weather its quite warm. Fall seems to be just a vague word in your brain when you are walking at Joe Brown, for some reason unknown to me its always sunny as we venture into one of our hidden jewels of my community,. As we enter the park the trees are still quite thick with leaves, the grass looks moist and the air is freshest after a rainfall the night before. There is a trail wide enough for bikers, hikers and dog walkers and variety of plants for the nature lover.
Perhaps that is why I love to come for a hike here, it stabilizes the rapidity of my thoughts, grounds me in a place where ticking of clocks is unregarded. A place where I can let go of the demands of technology. Cell phone off. Just me, the trees, my dog and my good boots. I only need care for the sun’s position in the sky. Free therapy. Reboot. Reset.
